Information and communication technology (ICT) empowers me from my area of specialization for me as a senior high school Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) student at Candon National High School by giving me a way to make it easier to handle and a better way to interact with the material we’re learning and having trouble with. I also have better access to resources as a result. It challenges me as well as teaches me how to engage in the world of ICTs using the knowledge and abilities I have been taught (such as blog, presentation or image gallery, website, illustrated document, etc.). Right now, little by little or step by step, I find myself benefiting from it and empowered. For me personally, technology helps me to access a larger knowledge base from which to draw, and it also enables me to study math in a way that I could not accomplish with a pen and paper. I can develop a presence that billions of people can access thanks to technology. A lot more options are also available in stores thanks to technology, and someday, people like me might even be able to learn every aspect of how my goods was made, including how effectively and ethically it was done. Because technology can accomplish so much, yet it is not the sole aspect of life, I believe local communities can use it much more effectively in the future.
